Infant Lessons, for children between the ages of 4 and 7
The four-year infant syllabus contains 140 lessons. Each year, lessons are included on Creation, Old Testament Characters, the life and work of the Lord Jesus, the Acts of the Apostles, and the return of Christ.
Lesson Notes
This book includes all 140 lessons. The notes for each lesson include an aim, a suggested outline, points of relevance to the children's lives, ideas for introducing prayer into the lesson, and a verse to learn. There is also a song or rhyme which may be used if appropriate. You will need one book for each teacher.
Activity Sheets
These are intended for use by scholars, and there is one sheet for each lesson. They are published in pad form, each pad containing the activity sheets needed by one child during the year - so you will need one pad for each child.
Colouring Book
Pictures to accompany the Infant Lessons. These are useful to illustrate the scene of the lesson as well as for colouring. Order one book for each child.
Quiz Packs
Five sessions of games and fun activities involving revision and questions on a section of the Infant syllabus. Fun for the children, and invaluable in providing feedback to the teacher. Also useful for Saturday activities or Youth Groups. Order one for each teacher - individual pages may be photocopied where necessary.
Project Packs
A series of themed activities taking five sessions. Useful as additional summer activities, or for a Holiday Club. Order one for each teacher - individual pages may be photocopied where necessary.
Sing a Bible Story - Recordings
The songs in the Infant Lesson Notes have been recorded onto cassette tape or compact disc. They can be used by a teacher, to find out how the song goes, to teach the songs to children, or for them to sing along to. Children may like to have a tape or CD at home to play themselves. a CD has the advantage that it is much easier to find a specific track.
Sing a Bible Story - Song Book
A song book with all the words and music included in the Infant Notes and recorded on the CDs and tapes. If you want to sing the songs at home, on holiday or in the car, this is just the thing. The music includes the tune and guitar chords.
Infant Lesson Cards
Lesson Cards list the lessons to be covered in one year of the CSSU Syllabus. Dates are left blank so that schools can plan their own calendar. Order one for each teacher.
