Making a donation

Thank you for visiting this page. If you are able to help us financially we will be very grateful, as it helps to keep down costs for Sunday Schools. We employ no staff, and everyone gives their time voluntarily, so all donations are used for the benefit of Sunday Schools and Youth Groups.

There are various ways in which you can donate:

If you are a UK taxpayer, you can print out the Gift Aid form below and post it with a cheque to our treasurer
You can make a donation directly through Paypal - click on the 'Donate' button on the right. If you don't already have a Paypal account you can donate with a credit card.
If you send the Gift Aid form, we can also regain tax on money sent through Paypal.
If you wish, the Gift Aid form can also apply to future donations.

UK Gift Aid

If money is donated by UK taxpayers, the Government allows charities to reclaim the basic rate of tax. Together with a 3% ‘transitional relief’ which applies until 5 April 2011, this means for every £1 donated, the CSSU can receive an additional 28 pence, so the total value of the donation is £1.28.
UK tax paid on income, capital gains and savings all apply.

I wish the enclosed contribution to be treated as a gift aid donation and tax to be reclaimed thereon.
I also wish any future donations to be treated as gift aid (please delete if you do not wish this).
I have paid a tax amount that at least equals the tax being reclaimed on the donation.
